Junior Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison with customers & INGORA Sales & Applications to establish mutual understanding of system goals & limitations. Provides technical engineering expertise to transform customer requirements into a custom product design.

Consults with Sales to confirm design specifications

Develops a drawing package for new hardware design that includes the hardware drawing, specifications, test plan, & hardware documentation following company policies & procedures

Responds to questions from hardware manufacturer (vendor)

Reviews & approves specifications, drawings & test plans

Tests the hardware according to test plan

Your background:

BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Experience includes 1 year minimum of drafting

Possesses well-developed drafting & mechanical drawing skills; knowledge of drafting standards, mathematics, science, manufacturing & engineering standards

Proficient in CATIA, MDT &/or AutoCAD

Familiarity with Robotics is helpful

Knowledge of instrumentation is helpful

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with customers & internal associates
